This year's Holiday ornament I am calling “Seven Swans A Swimming”.

The theme taken from the Carol “Twelve Days of Christmas”.

Beyond the meaning of the swans depicted in the carol the symbolism of Swans is varied. For example, it can be representative of loyalty and strength to artistry and beauty depending on the culture defining it. All of which were influential in my choosing of the Swan. However, what truly drew me to choosing the Swan is that it also represents peace and tranquility. Something I personally feel is much needed this year. 

So, here it is the 2020 Holiday Ornament “The Swan”. I had fun coming up with this one. I feel the resulting design has a very fluid style and of course returning to my favorite subject matter, being that of various forms of wildlife, did not hurt either.
