”Sparks will Fly” is the latest in my series of insects, another exploration of a Fly to be exact. In running with the insect theme and her direction “Sparks will Fly” is the envisioning of taking an ugly, hated nuisance of an insect and creating a beautiful form out of it.
Originally inspired by the set of Rolex spoons that form the upper level of the wings then running with a very clean and monotone style of only black and silver this one almost sparkles.
Incorporating many other miscellaneous objects including olive tongs, various typewriter parts, costume jewelry, a can opener, a nail vanity set, and even a vintage Cox model airplane engine comprising the head to name a few.
This one is definitely not your standard nuisance horse fly and t can be admired.
