This smaller fish is another venture into my exploration of using greater amounts of wood and such in my works.

The name is derived from the two red accents down each side. These for some reason reminded me of Jet engines and coupled with the design it was then deemed the “Flying Fish”.

Using many finely patinaed wooden spoons along with some old wooden napkin holders it to me really took on a Mid-Century feel kind of also coordinating with the glory days of flight.
