This bouquet is my take on a group of poppy flowers.

Hammer formed spoon ‘petals’ are the star of this piece. The petals are paired with various bicycle sprockets, wheel spokes, and drawer pulls all chosen to create the remaining structures of the flower.
All of this resting upon a base consisting of a vintage Ford hubcap, a rear light reflector and a lamp base.
Contrasting the flowers and the base with the warm rich wood textures and the sleek steel/chrome accents create a very contemporary style to this bouquet. This is one flower that is definitely guaranteed not to wilt.
