I am honored to have been selected as a participating artist in the PCCA Annual Juried Exhibition. Be sure to stop by the opening on November 11th. I will be there to discuss the inspirations and processes involved in creating my selected my works.
After a Week exploring New England and Proviencetown, MA in particular I am back at the workbench today ready to get back to creating and bringing to life many new ideas and sculptural concepts devised over the last week. Yes, that is where my mind goes during many hours driving in a car.
I am pleased to announce that it was, as I feel, a very successful trip.
I am honored that my “Boot Jack Fish” sculpture was accepted into the Proviencetown Art Association and Museum's Spring Members Juried exhibition where it will remain on display until the end of June.
I am also very proud to announce that I have gained representation and begun a great relationship with the Blue Gallery in the heart of Proviencetown, MA. You can check out their site herehttp://www.bluegalleryprovincetown.com/
Please check back as may updates are yet to come.
Part of my commission/participation in the Art of Troegs Contest was an interview detailing my processes and inspirations. I think they did a great job in depicting a glimpse into of my what drives me and the sculptures I create.
Check it out. I am thrilled to have had my Alligator Gar accepted into the 2016 Art of the State Exhibition. Can not wait to see it displayed at the State Museum along with 124 other amazing pieces from artists all around the state. Now, as I have been told, I just have to figure a way to get it there. It measures in at a little over 7ft. long and has never been out of the studio but could not be more honored to have this be its inaugural exhibition.
The Spring Show season is off to a roaring start! In the next month thru June I have shows all across the state and hopefully in New England as well.
If you are out West be sure to check out my work beginning on May 7th at Locality Gallery + Workshop located in Bedford, PA.
Featuring the work of some of the state's best Industrial artists, Industrial 2 is the long awaiting sequel to Locality's acclaimed, "Industrial Show" which opened in the fall of 2013.
This time we welcome new artists along with some old favorites for a brand new show that is sure to be spectacular. The industrial style continues to captivate audiences and inspire artists. As we long for a simpler time when American manufacturing was the bedrock of so many communities, we still strive to look forward to the next great moments on the horizon. The creativity and ingenuity of these artists reflects the very best values of our shared American spirit.
